Nature keeps us grounded. Obstacles make us perseverant. Adventure makes us tough. At Camp Building The Bond, these three forces combine to unleash the X factor in children and give them a power packed experience that pushes them to challenge themselves, enhance their confidence and acquire new skills.
Children navigate their way through rough territories using maps and compass to reach Ranthambore Fort and learn about its history. They acquire the skill of building rafts, pitching tents and enjoy traversing through a lake. They track tigers through pug marks and observe the majestic wildlife of the park.
Each day at the camp is customized to bring out different aspects of a child’s personality and hone them. Children explore nature, visit villages to get a taste of rural lifestyle and live independently, becoming self-reliant. They work in groups and become more accountable and compassionate. Through the days they spend at the camp, they transform to become all-rounded personalities, on their way to achieve success.
The day begins with a chance for every child to outdo their potential. Exercise and meditation helps children refresh themselves and look at things with a new perspective. Keeping the mind, body, and soul active is habit that will ensure success in life.
Exploring the outdoors can be an energizing change from the usual comfort of the indoors. This gives children a chance to discover things they are unfamiliar with. They understand how to take on new difficulties and face challenges.
Children should be encouraged to think creatively from an early age. It not only makes them solutions oriented but also gives them confidence to express their thoughts. At camp, children are encouraged to discover their latent creativity by making music from scrap, learning different kinds of knots and using paint to adapt their favourite superheroes’ look.
An experience doesn’t count if we don’t understand what it has taught us. That is why the last hours of every day at camp are spent introspecting the day gone by, key achievements and learnings. Sharing stories helps children learn from each other’s experiences and enhances their skill of expression.
